|Background I am 61 and married to Stacey Malloy. We have 4 children, ages 23 to 14. We have 3 in college and one in high school. I was born in Boston and at 18 entered West Point. I served 22 years on active duty in the Army worldwide. I have served in government positions and for 16 years as a defense contractor supporting our military mostly in the Washington, DC area. I have been successful in highly competitive business environments, growing jobs for technology and services businesses. I have an MBA from Temple University, a graduate certificate from Georgetown University and completed the Army Command and General Staff College. I believe in America and our Constitutional Republic and Democracy.
I have worked with 20+ allies in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Persian Gulf; extensively across US Federal/State/Local Government agencies; and for small and large businesses including Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and Bowhead (an Alaska Native Corporation). I am an energetic worker.
I am the oldest of 9 children, a decorated Veteran, and member of the VFW, American Legion, Elks, Moose, NRA, and Annunciation Church. I am a former Army Hockey and Baseball player.
I love Vermont—its people.- Economy
I will grow well-paying jobs in Vermont. I am a businessman. I have 15 years of Business Development success—growing business and jobs. I work in highly competitive technology and services environments, including Washington DC, across industry, government, and academia. I will bring business and jobs to Vermont. Your members of Congress have not done this, I will.
I see America’s entrepreneurial spirit waning. I will work to rejuvenate it in Congress and with our Governor and Legislation to promote business and innovation, not stifle it. I have visited hundreds of Vermont businesses, the common theme I heard is ‘reduce government regulation’—I will. - I will act with discipline and fiscal responsibility. We have a $34 trillion debt. The Federal and State budgets have increased 50% since 2019. The budget deficit this year alone has more than doubled. We are on a 100% unsustainable path. I will support balanced budgets and fixing Social Security, Medicare and other entitlements, restoring their long-term solvency, not cutting them. I do not support Government Intervention/Industrial Policy related to drug and healthcare prices. I will support changes to US Government Patent Laws that could dramatically decrease drug prices. I will not support tax increases. I will not support overspending; the trillions of dollars our Congress is overspending is a major contributor to the inflation we
- Over 39 years ago I took the exact same Oath as a US Senator. That Oath has no duration and I continue to serve under that Oath. I will protect individual rights. I believe ‘all men are created equal’, we are all God’s children. I will protect the rights of parents. I will support the intent of the Constitution: less Government, not more; Government for the people, not people for the Government (also known as Socialism). I will support Government that provides just enough order so every American can enjoy their unalienable rights. I will support the opportunity for individual prosperity and promote business by reducing over-regulation. I will support States rights under the 10th Amendment. I will not support federal legislation on powe

|Gerald is a West Point graduate and served over 22 years in the active Army around the world in leadership positions of great responsibility. He served with over 20 NATO partners and allies with duty in Germany, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, Jordan, Canada, and 5 years at Fort Bragg. Following the Army, Gerald then served 5 years working with the Department of Defense and many Federal, State, and Local Government organizations. Since 2011, Gerald has been in industry, providing services to many US Government organizations, mostly in the greater Washington, D.C. area. He has been successful in this highly competitive environment, serving the past 8 years as an executive.
Gerald is a decorated combat veteran. He has earned a Bachelor of Science/Political Science from West Point, an MBA from Temple University, is a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College, and has earned a Graduate Certificate from Georgetown University.
Gerald cannot just watch; he is seeking to serve Vermonters to get our Country back on track.- I will not waver from the Oath of Office to support and defend the Constitution of the United States and I will conduct myself under the values of Duty, Honor, and Country. I will protect and support the principles of the Constitution, such as LIberty, Freedoms, Rights, Commerce, Defense, Security, and Order. I will not support any action of any kind that even begins to chip away at any Constitutional right.
- Economic Prosperity. I will fight to ensure our Government promotes the opportunity for America and every American to prosper, and does so without increasing our $33T debt. I will not support more Government, more taxes, more spending, more control. I will support economic sanctions against countries we should not be trading with and I will support regaining energy independence.
- Defense, Security, Order. I fully support our military; we cannot afford to lose races in AI or Hypersonics. I will seek to repair damaged foreign relationships and keep the United States out of bad agreements, like with Iran. I fully support Law Enforcement and no changes to immunity. I will fully support our great Veterans.
I am passionate about finally taking a hard look at who we trade with, and establishing sanctions against countries we should not trade with - and from this I would certainly love to see more 'Made in America' and 'Made in Vermont'.
I am passionate about establishing reasonable, realistic Energy and Environmental plans, ones that actually take into account that we do not have the infrastructure, resources, or a viable plan for every American to hastily implement plans that are full of gaps and issues, like the New Green Deal, Global Warming Solutions Act, or Climate Action Plan.
I am passionate that as a US Senator I will have the ability to influence Foreing Policy so that the United States does not continue to project the wrong messages to our adversaries and allies around the world. I am passionate about restoring US oil and gas independence, and the trade surplus we had. I passionate about supporting our military and law enforcement.

Malloy's campaign website stated the following:

Economic Prosperity 1) Finally tackle the $30 Trillion debt. Reduce the size of Federal Government, spend within budget, stop the bleeding. Over the last 15 years since 2007 Congress has allowed the National Debt to increase by over 300%—that’s failure. 2) Energy Independence. Restart the Pipeline and promote, not restrict, US independence across all forms of Energy. Go back to reasonable gas prices and reasonable inflation from 2020, not record and 40-year highs. 3) I support every parent’s right to decide what is and what is not taught to their children in school. 4) Illegal Immigration. Put up the wall. Enforce the law, stop criminals and Fentanyl from China coming into the US. 10,000 lbs. of Fentanyl seized last year—enough to kill 2 Billion people. 5) A comprehensive review US Trade and Import practices, followed by the implementation of meaningful sanctions on countries with human rights violations, that harbor terrorists, that do not have fair Trade practices, and that produce Fentanyl and other drugs that are killing Americans. Stand up and Stop funding Communism, Terrorism, and Aggression – with the follow on benefit that we can make products instead of importing them. 6) Reduce healthcare costs, not Universal Healthcare but Initiatives to reduce price gouging and improve Medicare, Medicaid, and Veteran’s Administration operations. 7) Ensure the United States has access to natural resources for the future, like lithium.
1) Support and Defend the Constitution as the Oath of Office dictates. 2) No more unconstitutional Federal actions or initiatives like Mask and Vaccine Mandates that have destroyed our Economy. Take a drive down almost any Main Street and see the shuttered businesses. 3) Fully support all Amendments, including 2d Amendment Right to Bear Arms. I am a gun owner, my wife is an NRA member. 4) Pro life. Per the 10th Amendment I support taking this decision out of the Supreme Court and giving it to States and People.
1) Listen to and take the advice of our military leadership; learn from the debacle of the hasty pullout of Afghanistan where 13 service members died. 2) Rebuild damaged relations with NATO partners and allies around the world. 3) Do not enter into treaties that cannot be enforced with untrustworthy nations, such as Iran. 4) Fully support Law Enforcement. Funding, not Defunding, our Police; preserving order to enjoy freedoms.
I will support and defend the Constitution, to serve the best interests of Vermont and the United States. I thank Senator Leahy for his 48 years of services as the only Democrat Senator ever from Vermont. Just as he won in 1974, in the wake of Watergate and President Nixon’s resignation, it is now time for a change. I offer Character, Experience, Leadership and Performance, for our Future.[4] |
