Gerald R. Kinney
Gerald R. Kinney was a judge of the Twelfth Circuit Court in Illinois.[1] He joined the bench in 1994 and retired at the end of his final term on December 1, 2014.[2][3] Kinney served as the circuit's chief judge from 2009 to 2013 and was succeeded by Richard C. Schoenstedt.[4]
Education
Kinney earned a B.A. from Southern Illinois University and later received his J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago. He was admitted to the bar in 1975.[5]
Career
Before he became a judge, Kinney worked as an attorney in private practice.[3]
