Gerald T. Elliott
Gerald T. Elliott is a former judge for the Tenth Judicial District in Kansas. He was appointed by Governor Mike Hayden in December of 1990.[1][2][3] Elliott retired in January 2017.[4]
Education
Elliott earned his undergraduate degree from University of Kansas and his J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law.[1]
Career
Elliott was appointed to the Tenth Judicial District in 1990. Before his appointment he was engaged in private practice. He also clerked for U.S. District Judge Arthur J. Stanley, Jr. and served as a municipal court judge for 19 years.[1]

Elliott stood for retention on November 6, 2012.[5] He was successful in his bid for retention, earning 71.3 percent of the vote with 148,891 yes votes.[2]
