Gerald V. Purnell was the district administrative judge for the Second District Court in Maryland.[1] He has served as an associate judge for Worcester County since January 12, 2006 and as the district administrative judge since January 24, 2013.[2] His term expired in 2016.[3]

Purnell received his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University in 1978, his master's degree in education from Bucknell University in 1979 and his J.D. from the Antioch School of Law in 1982.[2]
