Gerald Vervold was a candidate for District 7 representative on the College Station Independent School District school board in Texas. Vervold withdrew from the by-district general election scheduled for November 7, 2017.[1]

Two of seven seats on the College Station Independent School District board of trustees in Texas were up for at-large general election on November 7, 2017. One incumbent filed for re-election. District 6 incumbent Michael Schaefer defeated challenger Jacquelyn Martin Huff. In District 7, newcomer Geralyn Nolan won against fellow newcomer Shana Elliott.[2][3]

Newcomer Gerald Vervold filed to run for the District 7 seat, but withdrew from the race.[4]
