Primary: He was defeated in the primary on August 26, 2014, receiving 17.64 percent of the vote. He competed against Jim Fensom and Shalene Grover. [1][2]

Virga earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his J.D. from the Samford University School of Law.[3]

Career

Virga's experience includes working for Senator Jeff Sessions as legal counsel, being an Assistant Attorney General and an associate attorney. He is in private practice at the law firm of Virga Law Offices, P.A.[3]
