Gerard Oleksiak
Gerard "Jerry" Oleksiak was the Pennsylvania secretary of labor and industry. He assumed the role on September 5, 2017, following the resignation of former officeholder Kathy Manderino.[1][2] He retired on December 4, 2020.[2]
Biography
Oleksiak worked as a classroom teacher for more than three decades. He previously served as the president of the Pennsylvania State Education Association and the Upper Merion Area Education Association.[3]

Oleksiak assumed the role of Pennsylvania secretary of labor and industry on September 5, 2017. He succeeded Kathy Manderino, who resigned on August 1, 2017, in order to join the state's Gaming Control Board.[1][2] Oleksiak retired on December 4, 2020.[2]
