Gerarda Culipher was a 2011 Republican candidate for District 34 of the Virginia State Senate.

Culipher attended Johns Hopkins University as an undergraduate. She then graduated from Tulane Law and worked as a federal judge in New Orleans. She then worked as a law clerk for a federal judge. She later became an adjunct professor at American University’s Washington College of Law.
