Geronda Carter

Geronda Carter is a judge of the Clayton Circuit of Georgia.[1] She first took office in 2006, and her current term expires in 2018.
Education
Carter received her B.A. from Spelman College and her J.D. from the University of Miami. She was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1996.[2]
Career
Prior to becoming a judge on the Clayton Circuit, Carter was a presiding judge on a magistrate court in 2005 and 2006. Before that, she was an attorney at Oliver & Winkle, P.C., a district attorney for the United States Northern District of Georgia, and an attorney for the Social Security Administration.[3]
