Gerrick Wilkins was born in Durango, Colorado. Wilkins earned a bachelor's degree from Liberty University in 2012 and a graduate degree from Samford University in 2016. His career experience includes working in automotive sales and management, as co-founder and chief operating officer of an automotive finance company, and as a consultant.

Gerrick Wilkins took to heart the quote from President Ronald Reagan, “We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone.” This quote encouraged Gerrick to get involved in his local church, serving as a deacon and lay leader, engage in mission work locally and globally, and work with Gideons International. Gerrick is a principled man of faith and is a Christian who loves the Lord. His faith and family have encouraged him to pursue a calling to this period of civil service. Over the years, he has committed significant time and personal resources to missions and philanthropic work locally to help his community in Alabama and worldwide.
Gerrick also serves on several local advisory boards, including one for Mission Increase and Samford University’s Brock School of Business.- I am committed to implementing Congressional term limits. Public service should be about serving the people, not seeking a lifelong career in politics. Congressional term limits will foster a more accountable government, yield fresh perspectives and new ideas, and reduce the potential for corruption and complacency.

My conservative beliefs in individual responsibility, limited government, and free-market principles also come from the biblical teachings of stewardship and respecting others’ rights and dignity.
Throughout my political journey, I have found strength in the Bible's teachings of unity and seeking common ground, valuing the inherent worth of every individual. I am committed to engaging in constructive dialogue with diverse perspectives, working towards solutions that unite our communities and promote well-being for all.
