Ges Selmont (Democratic Party) ran in a special election to the U.S. House to represent Florida's 6th Congressional District. He lost in the special Democratic primary on January 28, 2025.
Biography
Ges Selmont was born in Connecticut. He earned a bachelor's degree from Bard College, a law degree from Northeastern University, and graduates degree from Yale University and Harvard University's Extension School. His career experience includes working as a documentarian and higher education advisor. Selmont has been affiliated with the Service Employees International Union, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Jacksonville University, and Edward Waters College.[1]
