Gibney nominated U.S. District Judge in Virginia

Richmond, Virginia: John A. Gibney was nominated by President Obama to fill a vacancy on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He has worked as a lawyer for the Thompson-McMullan Law Firm since 2003.[1][2]
