Gilbert Badillo
Gilbert Badillo was the supervising judge of the New York City Housing Court of Queens County, New York. He was first appointed to this court on January 22, 1987. He was appointed to the position of supervising judge in 2009.[1][2]
Education
Badillo received his undergraduate degree from Manhattan College and his J.D. degree from the Boston College Law School.[1]
Career
Prior to his judicial career, Badillo worked in the Civil Division of The Legal Aid Society, as a private practice lawyer with the firm of Diaz and Badillo and as a lawyer with Novick, Edelstein, Lubell, Wasserman and Heventhal, P.C. He was appointed to the housing court in 1987.[1]
