Gill Holland (Democratic Party) ran for election for Lieutenant Governor of Kentucky. Holland lost in the Democratic primary on May 21, 2019.

Holland filed as the running mate for Adam Edelen in the Kentucky gubernatorial race.[1]

Holland is a former candidate for District 16 of the Louisville City Council in Kentucky. He was defeated in the general election on November 8, 2016.[2]

Holland is from Davidson, N.C. He received his bachelor's degree and J.D. at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His professional experience includes working as a small businessperson and a real estate developer. He is president of the NuLu Business Association and owns sonaBLAST! Records.[3]

The city of Louisville, Kentucky, held elections for city council on November 8, 2016. A primary election took place on May 17, 2016. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was January 26, 2016. Thirteen of the 26 city council seats were up for election. Scott W.
