Gina Badding is a judge of the Iowa Court of Appeals. She assumed office on August 7, 2021. Her current term ends on January 1, 2029.
Badding ran for re-election for judge of the Iowa Court of Appeals. She won in the retention election on November 8, 2022.
Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds (R) appointed Badding to the court on July 22, 2021, to replace former Judge Richard Doyle, who retired before the end of his term.[1]
Biography
Prior to her appointment to the appeals court, Badding was serving as a district court judge in Judicial Election District 2B. She previously practiced law with Neu, Minnich, Comito, Halbur, Neu & Badding, P.C.
Badding earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa and her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law.[2]
