Glenford Shibley (b. March 18, 1951) is a former Republican member of the Rhode Island State Senate, representing District 33 from 2010 to 2013.

Shibley earned his B.A. from the University of Rhode Island in 1973 and his M.A. from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 1975. Shibley is retired, but his professional experience included serving as Assistant Director of the Rhode Island Municipal Police Training Academy.[1]

Shibley ran for re-election in District 33. He was unopposed in the Republican primary on September 11. Leonidas Raptakis won in the Democratic primary. Raptakis defeated Shibley in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2]
