Glenn Wright (Tennessee)
Glenn I. Wright is a criminal court judge for the Shelby County Criminal Court Division II in the Thirtieth Judicial District of Tennessee. He was appointed by Governor Bill Haslam on June 28, 2013, to fill the vacancy created by the death of former Judge W. Otis Higgs.[1] Wright was then elected to the court on August 7, 2014, for an eight-year term expiring in 2022.[2][3]

Wright lost his bid for election to the Shelby County Criminal Court on August 5, 2010. He was defeated by J. Robert Carter, receiving only 24.79 percent of the vote.[5]
