A Glide Rural Fire Protection District Bond measure was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Douglas County, which is in Oregon, where it was approved.
This measure authorized the Glide Rural Fire Protection District to issue up to $2.5 million in bonds to be paid off in no more than 25 years and the appropriate property tax levy. The estimated annual property tax rate to pay for these bonds is $57 per $100,000 of assessed valuation.[1]

| “ | Shall Glide Fire District be authorized to contract general obligation bonded indebtedness in an amount not to exceed $2.5 million?
If the bonds are approved, they will be payable from taxes on property or property ownership that are not subject to the limits of Sections 11 and 11 b, Article XI of the Oregon Constitution.[1][2] |
