Gloria Sosa-Lintner
Gloria Sosa-Lintner is a judge for the New York County Family Court in New York. She was first appointed to the Family Court in 1988 and has served in Bronx and New York counties. She was reappointed in 1992, 2002, and 2012. Her current term ends in 2022.[1][2][3]
Education
Sosa-Lintner received her undergraduate degree from Barnard College in 1970 and her J.D. degree from the New York University School of Law in 1975.[1]
Career
Sosa-Litner began her career as an attorney of labor and unemployment law. She also worked, prior to her judicial appointment, as an Administrative Law Judge, Special Referee and Hearing Examiner. She was appointed to the Family Court in 1988 by then-Mayor Edward Koch. She also served from March of 1998 to September of 2009 as a judge of the New York County Family Treatment Court.[3]
