Ballot question

The ballot question was as follows:[1]

Shall an ordinance be adopted establishing an annual salary for members of the City Council set at seventy-five percent (75%) of the nonfamily household median income for the City of Goleta as determined by the United States Census Bureau (resulting in a salary of $42,134) and for the Mayor at ninety percent (90%) of the nonfamily household median income for the City of Goleta (resulting in a salary of $50,561)?[2]
