Gordon Marburger
Gordon Marburger was a 2016 Republican candidate for District 12 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.[1]
Marburger ran for the seat in Pennsylvania House of Representatives elections, 2014#2014. He was removed from the ballot by the state Supreme Court on May 2, 2014, for failure to file a statement of financial interest with the state Ethics Commission.[2]
Biography
Marburger earned his B.S. in Agriculture Business from Penn State University in 1979. His professional experience includes managing his family’s farm business and working for A J Meyer & Sons Transportation.[3]

- Excerpt: "Improving the state roads in our area to help ease current traffic and to allow for future growth. I personally feel our area is not getting the attention we deserve as a growing community from our state. A lot of our taxes are going to Harrisburg and are not coming back to the area."

2014
Elections for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 11, 2014. Incumbent Daryl Metcalfe was set to face Gordon Marburger in the Republican primary, but Marburger was removed from the ballot on May 2, 2014, leaving Metcalfe unopposed. Lisa Zucco was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Metcalfe defeated Zucco in the general election.[9][10][11]
