A Goshen Township Fire Levy Replacement measure was on the March 6, 2012 ballot in the township of Goshen which is in Tuscarawas County.
The measure was approved
- YES 423 (63.70%)
- NO 241 (36.30%)[1]
This measure sought to replace the current fire levy with one set at a rate of $.13 per $100 of assessed value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for fire protection services in the township.[2]

The question on the ballot:
A replacement of .3 mill of an existing levy and an increase of 1 mill to constitute tax for the benefit of Goshen Township for the purpose of fire protection at a rate not exceeding 1.3 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.13, for each one hundred dollars in valuation, for 5 years commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[3] |
