A Goshen Township Fire Tax Levy Replacement question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Hardin County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.
This question authorized the township of Goshen to impose a property tax levy replacement of 2 mills ($2 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund fire protection and emergency medical services.[1]

Language on the ballot:
| “ | A replacement of a tax for the benefit of Goshen Township, for the purpose of fire protection and emergency medical services at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to twenty cents ($0.20) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2013, first due in calendar year 2014.
