Gov. Daugaard appoints Mark Salter to Second Circuit

South Dakota: Governor Dennis Daugaard yesterday announced the appointment of Mark Salter to the Second Circuit Court. Salter will replace Judge William J. Srstka, who is retiring at the end of the year. The new judge most recently served as Chief of the Appellate Division in the South Dakota United States Attorney's Office. A native of South Dakota, Salter also served in the U.S. Navy JAG Corps for three years, and worked in private practice.[1]
