Governor Brown appoints slew of judges to California Superior Courts

A few days after Christmas, on December 27, 2013, Governor Jerry Brown appointed a number of new judges to vacancies on the California Superior Courts. The 20 judges who were appointed that day are:
- Ursula Jones Dickson, to the Alameda County
- Alison M. Tucher, to the Alameda County
- Hugh K. Swift, to the Calaveras County
- John C. Cope, to the Contra Costa County
- Mark K. Hanasono, to the Los Angeles County
- Daniel Juarez, to the Los Angeles County
- Dorothy C. Kim, to the Los Angeles County
- Shelley L. Kaufman, to the Los Angeles County
- Paul C. Lo, to the Merced County
- Gary L. Moorhead, to the Orange County
- Fred W. Slaughter, to the Orange County
- Dean Benjamini, to the Riverside County
- Stephen P. Acquisto, to the Sacramento County
- Michael G. Bowman, to the Sacramento County
- Cindy D. Davis, to the San Diego County
- Daniel G. Lamborn, to the San Diego County
- James K. Voysey, to the Santa Barbara County
- Monique D. McKee, to the Shasta County
- Christine A. Carringer, to the Solano County
