Governor Kasich appoints two in Wayne County
April 24, 2012
Ohio: Yesterday, Governor John Kasich made two appointments in Wayne County. Latecia Wiles will succeed Raymond E. Leisy on the Wayne County Probate/Juvenile Court. Prior to the appointment, Wiles served as a Supervising Attorney in the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office. The unexpired term to which she was appointed ends in 2015, but Wiles must compete for the seat in this year's general election in order to finish out the term.
The other appointment was that of Mark C. Clark to the Wayne County Municipal Court. Clark succeeds William G. Rickett, who retired at the end of January. Clark must allow voters their say on his appointment in the next election for municipal court judges, which will occur in 2013. If he is elected, his term will expire in 2015. [1]
