The seats of District 1 incumbent Marcia Coppin, District 4 incumbent Laurie Davies, and District 5 incumbent Leah Wells were up for election. Coppin was the only incumbent to file for re-election and ran unopposed. Graeme Sackrison and Dave Newkirk were the only candidates to file for Districts 4 and 5, respectively.
