Goshorn was defeated in the November 2 general election by Democrat David Schapira.[2]

Goshorn was recruited to the Green Party ballot by Republican Steve May. The Democratic Party filed a complaint in an attempt to have Goshorn and other candidates recruited in the same fashion removed from the ballot.[3]
