I am a Northeast Indiana native who has lived, worked, and played across the district. My wife, Melinda, and I have been blessed with two amazing sons, Grayson & Gentry and currently reside in Steuben County. Of foremost importance is my sold-out belief that Jesus is King of the universe. I believe He lived a life that changed the course of history, died on a cross, and rose again to give you and I eternal hope. What's more, I strive to actually live like this is paramount in my life--striving to love & serve God and love & serve Others to make the world a better place for His glory. Having graduated from Purdue with an engineering degree and Indiana with an MBA, my career to date has been spent in the construction industry--first with Shambaugh & Son and currently with Weigand. I have loved being a part of literally building the future of our nation, but, recognizing the need for ordinary people driven to serve others to stand up and make a difference across the nation, we have accepted the call to step out with a willingness to represent you and your family in DC!
  • The greatest threat we face today is being divided, isolated, and enraged towards our neighbors. Yet, it's cultivated everyday in the MSM, social media, and political discourse. If we want to see restoration in our nation, we must first uphold unity with fellow citizens.
  • The path to restoration in the United States includes a return to its foundation--The Constitution. Three branches & separation of powers were established with amazing insight. Today we see the effects of consolidated powers in the bureaucracies that burden and rule, while Congress happily sheds its responsibilities to avoid accountability. Our Representatives must be accountable.
  • Decisions that affect our families must be made based on Truth, rather than opinion or lobbyists. Biblical truth and common sense would go a long way towards restoring our nation in families, communities, and government. Our leaders must put an emphasis on truth above any popular rhetoric.
While there are many policy "issues" to consider today, the ones that get me most excited are those that affect a person/family's ability to thrive. We need to build the strength of our nation Economically, Militarily, and in our Families.

Economically, an average person working in manufacturing, farming, trades, teaching, etc, ought to be able to provide for their family. Of the thousands of people I have interacted with, most don't want a handout or governmental protection for their job, they just want the Fed to quit printing money so they stop losing buying power. In addition to this, we need to continue re-domesticating production, strengthen Main Street, and become energy independent again.

Militarily, we need to secure our borders and fund/train our military to be ready for the most plausible next threat.

Family, to continue to thrive as a nation, we must hold life sacred, promote virtue in our homes and classrooms, and return to studying history and scripture for what is true about the world, rather than our newsfeeds and social media accounts.
