Primary: He was defeated in the Democratic primary on June 24, 2014, receiving 9.8 percent of the vote. He competed against Stephan W. Fogleman, Charles Bernstein, Mark H. Weisner, and incumbent Judges Michele E. Loewenthal and Lewyn Scott Garrett. Primary candidates competed for 3 seats.
