Three seats on the Greeley-Evans School District 6 Board of Education were up for general election on November 3, 2015.
Incumbents Doug Lidiak, Julia Richard and Logan Richardson were up for re-election.[1][2] They faced one challenger, Terri Pappas.[3] Lidiak and Richard were successful in winning re-election and newcomer Pappas was elected to the remaining seat on the board.

Greeley-Evans School District 6 is located in Weld County in northern Colorado. The county seat of Weld County is Greeley. Weld County was home to an estimated 655,044 residents in 2013, according to the United States Census Bureau.[4] Greeley-Evans School District 6 was the 13th-largest school district in Colorado, serving 19,840 students during the 2011-2012 school year.[5]
Demographics
Weld County underperformed in comparison to the rest of Colorado in terms of higher education achievement in 2013. The United States Census Bureau found that 25.9 percent of county residents aged 25 years and older had attained a bachelor's degree, compared to 37.0 percent for the state as a whole. The Greeley-Evans School District 6 Board of Education consists of seven members elected at-large to serve four-year terms. There was no primary election, and the general election was held on November 3, 2015. Three seats were on the ballot in November 2015.[1]
