Green Bay School District Bond Measures, 2 (April 2010)
Two Green Bay School District Bond Measures were on the April 6, 2010 ballot in the school district of Green Bay which is in Brown County.
Both measures were approved

This first measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $11,000,000 in order to help pay for capital improvement projects in the district and also to repair and upgrade existing buildings.
The second measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $5,700,000 in order to help pay for upgrading and improving technology throughout the district.[2]
Local school officials were trying to garner support for the measure by noting that borrowing prices will never be lower and that the district is in need of these improvements and upgrades. But opponents saw the district operating on a large budget already and felt that the building repairs were not immediate needs for the schools.[3] A defeat in 2007 overshadowed the current school election, school officials were trying their best to make sure the taxpayers know this was not a repeat of the failed high school referendum. Before, the school district had a constant approval of school bonds, school officials were hoping to return to the approval stage of residents.[4]
