The Green Party of Colorado is the Colorado political party affiliate of the national Green Party. The party is headquartered in Denver, Colorado.

Background

The Green Party of Colorado aims to promote Green policies and support Green candidates throughout the state. The party was founded in 1992 and has maintained ballot access since 1998. Green candidates won several local elected offices across the state in 2002. According the Colorado Secretary of State, over 9,000 Coloradans had registered as Greens as of April 2016.[1][2]
