A Greene County Mental Health Levy Renewal measure was on the November 6, 2012 ballot in Greene County where it was approved.
This measure renewed the current mental health levy which is set at a rate of 1.5 mills for a further ten years in order to continue to pay for mental health services in the county. Health officials have noted that the renewal is important as state funding has continued to decrease and without this funding services would have to be cut back.[1]
