An effort to recall Supervisor Kirk Winter in Greenleaf Township, Michigan from his position was launched in December 2014.[1] The recall election was scheduled for May 5, 2015.[2] Winter was recalled.[3]

In September 2015, efforts were launched to recall two more officials: Trustees Randy Schuette and Ken Brown. That recall election was scheduled for November 3, 2015.[4] The recall efforts against Schuette and Brown were defeated.

Recall supporters

Winter was targeted for recall over allegedly purchasing a new township hall without board approval.[1] Schuette and Brown were targeted for similar reasons.[5]
