|Many people know me as the pastor of Calvary Chapel Community Church for the last 22 years or as the longest serving Rapid City Police Department Chaplain for the last 21 years or as a member of Human Trafficking Task Force for the last 8 years, or my role as a current Precinct Committeeman…yet when it all boils down, I am a voter, just like you, and as voters, we should be able to expect those we elect to know and represent the values of the district we live in.
My reputation in our city is one of being a visionary, a problem solver, a bridge builder, a faith leader, a decade’s long active participant in what happens in our city. I’ve been blessed with the privilege of a 20 year relationship with our mayors and city council members and business owners in our city, and I am known for making a stand for conservative political issues.
I would appreciate the opportunity to earn your vote.- I am a Christian, conservative, common sense, constitutionalist. I believe in the principles that our nation was founded on, that all men are created equal, endowed with the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I am life-long Ronald Reagan Republican, and I believe in his vision of a new morning in America, including South Dakota. I am running for the senate because, in the not too distant past, integrity, honesty, character, love for country and love for our fellow citizens was the norm, not the exception. I believe that we can get there again, with the right people in the right positions of influence.
- My mission is to be a voice for the people of District 35. To be the people’s voice, you need to know the people who you serve. Relationship is essential, and through relationship, I know the political pulse of our community, specifically my district…My district is full of South Dakotans that are hard-working, family oriented, value oriented people, and for the most part, we just want to be left alone to live our lives, without a lot of government and political intrusion…District 35 deserves a senator who will fight to maintain these principles, even in the midst of an ever increasing politically correct world.
- I am unashamedly: PRO-LIMITED GOVERNMENT PRO-CONSTITUTION PRO-FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY PRO-PROPERTY RIGHTS PRO-LOWER PROPERTY TAXES PRO-FAMILY VALUES PRO-PARENTAL RIGHTS PRO-LIFE PRO-GUN RIGHTS PRO-LAW ENFORCEMENT PRO-MILITARY
We must protect The Second Amendment
We must protect the life of the unborn
We must ensure election integrity
My heart breaks for these respected seasoned saints that are on a fixed income, and don’t have a way to increase their revenue to balance the ever increasing property taxes, so of course, there must be property-tax reform.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
