Primary: He was defeated in the Democratic primary on May 6, 2014, receiving 5.1 percent of the vote. He competed against Annie Christ-Garcia, Barbara Cook Crawford, Angela Davis, David J. Dreyer, Shatrese M. Flowers, David R. Hennessy, Mark A. Jones, Christina R. Klineman, James B. Osborn, Marcel A. Pratt, Jr., Christopher K. Starkey and Karen Celestino-Horseman. There were 16 total seats up for election on this court. The top 8 Democratic candidates advanced to the general election and will be unopposed for the eight available Democratic seats.
