Greg Everett is a member of the Mesquite Independent School District school board in Texas, representing Place 4. He assumed office in 2014. His current term ends in 2026.
Everett won re-election to the Mesquite Independent School District school board to represent Place 4 in Texas outright after the general election on May 6, 2023, was canceled.
Everett sought re-election in the general election that was scheduled to be held on May 6, 2017, but it was canceled due to lack of opposition. Everett won re-election to the board by default.[1]
Everett previously served on the board from 1991 to 2009.
Biography
Everett graduated from North Mesquite High School in 1974. He has served as a member of Mesquite Church of Christ, as a youth baseball volunteer, and as a member of a number of Chamber of Commerce committees. His work experience includes serving as a plumbing department manager and licensed master plumber for Levy and Son. Everett left the board in 2009 after he and his wife, Ramona, purchased property in Sunnyvale and intended to build a new home there. He returned to the board in 2014.[2]

2017
Three of the seven seats on the Mesquite Independent School District board of trustees were supposed to be up for general election on May 6, 2017, but the election was canceled due to lack of opposition. Incumbents Gary Bingham, Greg Everett, and Robert Seward were re-elected by default to the Place 3, 4, and 5 seats, respectively.[1][3]
