Campaign themes

2014

Feldman's website highlighted the following campaign themes:[3]

Emergency Gun Bill

  • Excerpt: "Unfortunately, this piece of legislation fails to follow through by addressing the aftermath, and poses a conflict for law enforcement as well as a concern for the average citizen."

Taxes

  • Excerpt: "As your Senator, I would call upon my colleagues to take those steps necessary to immediately initiate a process of analysis and review that would lead to the modification or repeal of taxes that currently stand in the way of expanding our economy and creating jobs."

Jobs

  • Excerpt: "I call upon the business community to bring forward those regulations that are restricting growth, profitability and success. If elected, I promise to be YOUR spokesperson in Tallahassee on those issues, and to work towards the modification of constraints negatively impacting the citizens of Senate District 6."

Medical Marijuana

  • Excerpt: "I believe my extensive law enforcement experience provides a unique ability for me to work with my fellow Senators, as well as the Florida Police Chiefs and Florida Sheriffs Associations. By helping to bridge the gap between the Legislature and the law enforcement community, we can assist at all levels in implementing the wishes of the people while addressing the significant concerns of our law enforcement community."

Casino Gambling

  • Excerpt: "This industry has the capability of creating tens of thousands of jobs while contributing significantly to the welfare and financial stability of our state, county and local governments. Your state government should not tell individual jurisdictions what they can or cannot do on this topic."
