|Before moving to Florida, Greg served as Chairman of the Board for the Central Illinois Chapter of the American Red Cross. He helped deliver vital emergency services amidst catastrophic flooding and some of the most destructive tornadoes in the region’s history. He also served on the Boards of Catholic Charities and Eureka College. He attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame. As a veteran, Greg was awarded honorable medical discharge from the U.S. Naval Academy. He had intended to attend flight school following graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis and have a long career as a Naval or Marine Corps aviator. However, during his sophomore year at the Academy, Greg was twice hospitalized for the treatment of severe injuries suffered during training. Following his second hospitalization he was sent to Bethesda Naval Hospital and was diagnosed with Hemophilia B, a condition which disqualified him from further military service. He served on active duty from July 6, 1977 to Feb. 1, 1979.
Greg, who is married to his wife Margo and enjoys his role as father of 9, stepfather of two, and grandfather of 11, is als- Border Security and safer communities
