Greg Kraft represented Trustee Area 4 on the Alvord Unified School District Board of Education in California. He ran against challenger Robert Schwandt in the general election on November 4, 2014.[1] Greg Kraft lost the general election on November 4, 2014.

Kraft was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 60 in the California State Assembly. He lost in the primary election.

Three seats on the Alvord Unified School District Board of Education were up for general election on November 4, 2014. Incumbent Art Kaspereen Jr. ran against challenger Mia Villeta Alvarado for the Trustee Area 1 seat, and incumbent Greg Kraft ran against challenger Robert Schwandt for the Trustee Area 4 seat. Incumbent José Luis Pérez did not file for re-election, leaving the Trustee Area 3 race to two candidates, Donna K. Wandro and Julie Moreno.

Kaspereen was successful in his bid for re-election, defeating Alvarado for Trustee Area 1. Moreno came out on top in the Trustee Area 3 race, and Schwandt defeated incumbent Kraft for Trustee Area 4.

This was the first election in which board members were elected by district. It was also the first time elections were held during an even-numbered year.

Funding

Kraft had not reported any contributions or expenditures for his 2014 campaign to the Riverside County Registrar of Voters as of October 28, 2014.[2]

Endorsements

Kraft received the endorsement of the California School Employees Association.[3]
