Greg Merk
Greg Merk (Republican Party) ran in a special election to the U.S. House to represent Florida's 1st Congressional District. He lost in the special Republican primary on January 28, 2025.
Biography
Merk was born in Buffalo, New York. He served in the United States Navy from 1990 to 2000 and in the United States Air Force from 2000 to 2011. Merk attended the Marion Military Institute, Canisius College, and SUNY Buffalo. He earned his bachelor's degree in 1989. He also attended Georgetown University. His professional experience includes working as a pilot and business consultant. [1]
