Greg Patterson is the Delaware Secretary of Natural Resources and Environmental Control.

On January 21, 2025, Gov. Matt Meyer (D) appointed Patter the Delaware Secretary of Natural Resources and Environmental Control. He replaced acting officeholder Lisa Borin Ogden who took office when Shawn Garvin reached the end of his term.

Biography

Patterson is a graduate of Washington & Lee University. His career experience includes serving as chief of staff for two attorneys general, a Department of Insurance commissioner, a Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control secretary, and working on the staff of Gov. Ruth Ann Minner (D) and Gov. Jack Markell (D). Prior to his appointment as secretary of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Patterson was a state coordinator on the federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.[1]
