Greg Perry ran in a special election to the Sequoyah Public Schools school board to represent Office 2 in Oklahoma. Perry was on the ballot in the special general election on August 27, 2024.[source]

This was a redo election. Perry and Young originally ran in a special general election on April 2, 2024, which showed Perry receiving 225 votes to Young's 222. Young challenged the results, which uncovered 10 irregular votes, a number larger than the margin of victory. As a result, District Court Judge Lara Russell asked Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) to call a new special election in August.[2]
