Gregory Campbell is a district court judge for the Bangor District Court in Maine. He was appointed to this position by Gov. LePage on May 23, 2011 and was confirmed by the state Senate on June 3rd. He replaced retired Judge Roland Beaudoin.[1][2]
Education
Campbell received his undergraduate degree from Bates College and his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law.[1]
Career
Campbell began his career in 1985 as a prosecutor in Bangor, ME. He later worked for the firm of Richardson, Troubh & Badge for two years in the 1990s. He then worked as a special assistant in the U.S. Attorney's Office until joining the Penobscot County District Attorney's Office in 1995. He was an assistant district attorney for Penobscot and Piscataquis counties prior to his appointment to the district court in 2011.[1]
