Gregory D. Brandt

Gregory D. Brandt is an associate judge of District 5C of Iowa. He was appointed to this position in March of 1997.[1] His current term expires in 2018.
Education
Brandt received his bachelor's and law degrees from Drake University in 1984 and 1987, respectively.[1]
Career
Brandt began his legal career in 1987 as a law clerk for the Eighth Judicial District. The following year, he became a Polk County assistant attorney. He worked in this capacity until 1995, after which he worked as an associate at a law firm until his judicial appointment in 1997.[1]
2012 election
Brandt was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 77.71 percent of the vote.[2][3]
