Gregory Elvine-Kreis is a judge for the Superior Court of Humboldt County in California. He was appointed by Gov. Jerry Brown (D) on May 22, 2017, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge W. Bruce Watson.[1]
Biography
Elvine-Kreis earned a B.A. from Humboldt State University and a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law. At the time of his appointment to the bench in 2017, he was the supervising attorney at the Humboldt County Public Defender's Office. His professional experience also includes work as a deputy public defender for the Humboldt County Public Defender's Office and an associate for the Law Offices of Mark Berg.[1]
