Biography
Groger received a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law. Groger worked at the state's attorney office from 2003 until his judicial appointment in 2017.[1]

The chief judge is selected by peer vote and serves in that capacity for two years.
Qualifications
To serve on this court, a judge must be:[2]
- a qualified elector;
- a state resident;
- admitted to practice law in the state for five years; and
- under the age of 75 (retirement at 75 is mandatory).
