Gregory Mize is a senior judge on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. He joined the court on September 7, 1990, and retired on March 12, 2002.[1][2]

Education

Mize received an undergraduate degree from St. Mary of the Lake of Loyola University and an S.T.B. from St. Mary of the Lake Seminary. He earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.[1]

Career

Mize began his legal career as an associate with the firm Karr Garves. In 1975, he became Staff Director and Counsel with the District of Columbia Council's Committee on the Judiciary. From 1983 until joining the court in 1990, Mize served as General Counsel for the D.C. Council on the Judiciary.[1]
