Gregory Strasser

Gregory J. Strasser is the Branch 4 judge on the Marathon County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. He was appointed to the position on July 1, 2016, by Gov. Scott Walker (R) to fill the vacancy created by Judge Gregory Grau's retirement on May 20, 2016. Marathon County is located in the 9th Judicial District.[1]
Strasser won re-election without opposition in the general election on April 4, 2017.
Biography
Strasser was born in Wausau and graduated from Wausau West High School. He was a founding partner of the Strasser and Yde, S.C. Law Firm.[1]
Elections
2017
Wisconsin held local judicial elections in 2017. Forty-eight circuit court seats were up for election on April 4, 2017. Three seats required primaries on February 21, 2017, with the top two vote recipients for each seat advancing to the April 4 general election. Thirty-seven seats up for election in 2017 were unopposed.[2] Incumbent Gregory Strasser ran unopposed in the general election for the Branch 4 seat on the Marathon County Circuit Court.
